Calgary Cannabis Regulations to Be Debated: Get Involved
Calgary will soon be establishing the rules pertaining to cannabis consumption and business licensing. If you want your voice heard, now is the time do it.
On April 3 at 9:30am, the municipal Standing Policy Committee on Community and Protective Services will consider regulations pertaining to the following issues:
Proposed amendments to the Business Licence Bylaw
A new proposed Smoking and Vaping Bylaw and the repeal of the existing smoking bylaw
Proposed regulations regarding public consumption
On April 5th, all cannabis-related bylaw amendments will be debated at a Public Hearing Meeting of Council. The following matters will be considered:
Proposed amendments to the Land Use Bylaw
Bylaw amendments discussed in the April 3rd Standing Policy Committee on Community and Protective Services

Both meeting are open to the public, and you can have your voice heard on these important issues. These bylaws will have an impact, whether you are cannabis business owner or recreational cannabis consumer.
