A. The Canadian Cannabis Chamber is a voluntary, non-profit association of the legal cannabis business community. It unites the efforts of legal cannabis-based business and professionals to speak as one voice to ensure that the cannabis business community experiences fair dealings with respect to regulation and legislation, realizes healthy economic outcomes, and responsibly balances business interests with public safety. The Cannabis Chamber enables its membership to accomplish collectively what individual cannabis businesses and organizations couldn’t accomplish individually.

A. Committees are a key component of the Canadian Cannabis Chamber. Committees are comprised of Chamber members, and are formed to address specific issues or interest areas. They provide a means for our membership to become actively and directly involved in policy development around various issues impacting their business objectives, and ultimately their ability to succeed as a business.

The Canadian Cannabis Chamber represents and promotes the fair, stable and successful growth of cannabis-related businesses, encourages and helps to facilitate investment into the cannabis industry, influences tax policy, facilitates staffing and employment opportunities – connecting talent to cannabis-based businesses, and provides Chamber endorsement and certification to foreign cannabis businesses and brands seeking to license their brand or business in Canada.
From a brand and messaging standpoint, the Canadian Cannabis Chamber represents the Cannabis community’s identity at all levels of government (federal, provincial, and municipal), and serves as a professional liaison with the non-cannabis business community. In addition, the Canadian Cannabis Chamber is deeply involved in non-commercial areas such as education, human relations, environmental, cultural and governmental concerns. These areas of focus have an important role in providing meaningful participation by the cannabis community to be a part of the solution of various social problems resulting from the inappropriate and incorrect use of cannabis in our communities across the country.

Note: all applications require a $250.00 non-refundable application fee. This application fee is deducted from your annual membership dues once your application is approved. This is to ensure that only serious applicants apply, thereby helping to regulate the Canadian Cannabis Community.

A. The Canadian Cannabis Chamber is a national non-profit organization that incurs operational costs associated with representing our members and their interests. These expenses are met primarily through membership fees derived from our membership base, including individuals and firms. Members share a mutual desire to achieve a healthy legal cannabis economy, and preserve the safety and betterment of our community.
